7.8.2009July Homeowners' Meeting Moved to Tuesday, July 14th, 2009
There will be a Woodlands Homeowners Association meeting on
Tuesday, July 14, 2009, starting at 6pm at the Los Vecinos
Community Center, 478 1/2 Old Highway 66, Tijeras, NM.
WHA members are urged to attend. There will be
votes on infrastructure expenditures at the meeting.

BERNALILO COUNTY COMMISSION APPROVES PARTIAL FIREWORKS BAN
The Bernalillo County Commission has approved a ban on some
fireworks in the unincorporated areas of the County. The ban
applies to the sale and use of missile-type rockets,
helicopters, aerial spinners, stick-type rockets and ground
audible devices.
"What we look for is anything that shoots sparks and pieces
outside a six feet circle and/or higher than 10 feet in the air,
and products that may pose a hazard by falling or tipping over
during operation", says County Commission Chair Alan Armijo.
The severe drought conditions and the potential risk to life,
property and the environment prompted the ban. Some of the
fireworks ban covers the areas east of Louisiana Blvd. to the
west face of the Sandia Mountains, from San Antonio north to the
Sandia Indian Reservation, all the East Mountain area and areas
within 1000 feet of the Rio Grande Bosque and wildland areas.

Woodlands Spring Cleaning
Your Board of Directors has approved two
yearly trash container drop-offs this year. The Spring drop-off
date will be Friday April 17, 2009 and the container will be
picked up when it is filled. The container will be dropped off
in the Cal-de-sac on Blue Gramma (which is off Woodlands Drive
near the newest entrance). We will arrange for another one
sometime in the Fall. There will be one container in the Spring
and one container in the Fall.
The bin will be available until the bin is full.
December Woodlands Association General Homeowners' Meeting
The annual Woodlands Homeowners' Association
Meeting will be held on December 1st, 2008. The meeting
will be at 6:30 PM at

Woodlands Fall Clean up
The Woodlands Homeowners Association is
providing a 30 yard trash bin for fall clean-up activities. The
bin will be delivered on September 19th and will be located at
the first cut-out north of Woodlands Drive on Sunset View.
The bin will be available until the bin is full.
